About february 2011 colter didnt have a great job and we were struggling pretty bad we were behind on all of our bills and just not doing so great even christmas was really tough. I hope i never have to struggle that badly ever again. Anyways in february we decided that at the end of march Colter would leave again and go to Arizona for about a month and a half so he could do preseason security sales. At first i really didnt know if we wered making the right decision or if we were just jumping in blind but after alot of prayers and tears, it really paid off we were able to catch up on everything but he had to give up his job here in order to go there. So again we sat down and had to make some huge life decisions. The decision had been made that we would drive across the country on the few hundred dollars we had managed to save and Colter would sell in Pittsburgh, Pa. Thats just what we did we got colter enrolled in school and everything taken care of so he can start in August, and we packed up and moved all the way across the country.
It scared me to death being that far away from my parents because we have always been close to them but it was time to cut the apron strings and stand on our own two feet and it really has helped both of us grow up and rely on ourselves. On the way out we Drove through Idaho, montana,Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. We stopped and saw some family and friends in wyoming, went to Mt. Rushmore in SD, visited some friends in Iowa, Went to the colts stadium in Indiana,and finally made it to pittsburgh, pa. Colter and i really go to spend literally 3 days straight all by ourselves getting to know eachother better than ever. We had our little arguments usually becaue of his driving, but then 10 minutes later they were over and we were laughing again. We also brought our dog with us and he was great his name is tuff and he is about 3 lbs and is a white malti poo. He loves the car and he slept almost all the way out here so that wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be. It was definatly an adventure and we will see how it turns out but so far it has been a good decision. Colter is up to 20 sales including preseason, we have been able to start a savings account again and keep money in it, we are hoping with the next big check to get an ipad and make a payment on my car and another payment on my ring which is almost paid off, we have also set some pretty big goals of places we want to go and see and things we want in our lives and we are starting to get serious about having kids but we have a few things we need to do before that. We have been out her about a month and i think we are doing pretty good for the small amount of time thank goodness. We have also made some really great friends so so far this has been a good decision.
